My primary care doctor has almost no familiarity with treating people who have had wls. Does anyone know of any good doctors in Manhattan that are alittle more up to speed on this kind of thing?

you might want to call ST Luke Roosvelt's hospital, they have the center for obesity there and I'm sure you will find a good doctor there....try and give them a call and see if you want to go there.

Hi Lisa, I am also a post-op of Drs. Roslin and Kurian. I'd e-mail her or call the office for a reccomendation. I have a terrific pcp but he is in Nassau County. He doesn't have too many wls patients but is incredibly supportive to pre and post ops and is knowledgable about the process.

Give Dr. William Suozzi at Associates for Internal Medicine a call. The address there is 234 Central Park West but I don't recall the phone number. Dr. Suozzi has experience dealing with WLS patients and is very compassionate.
