Real Mayo vs. Fake Mayo

Is there anyone out there that uses real (Helmann's) Mayo as compared to light or fat free? I have been using the light, but some things just don't taste right without the regular mayo. Marianne

I use real just about everything. I figure I can use so little of it anyway, it can't make a difference. That said, I rarely eat mayo, sour cream, etc....I think the fat free stuff is full of sugars, isn't it? I'd rather deal w/ fat than sugar...pouchie doesn't like sugar at all! Claudia

The stuff they add to make the fat free foods palatable does more damage than the fats in real food, which - as you know - are necessary in our diets up to a point. I can't see the harm in putting mayo on the half a sammich you are probably able to eat by now...... as with all things, we just have to taste test and see how our pouch reacts. Me? No problem with real mayo.
