Hi Katie. I'm 3 months post op, and down about 70 lbs total. I'm married, so my situation is a bit different, but definitely getting more attention when I'm not w/ my hubby. Honestly, I don't blame anyone for not having been attracted to me at almost 300 lbs. Sexual attraction is usually the first thing someone of the opposite sex notices. Self-confidence is a HUGE part of that...and I can honestly say I feel SO much more comfortable in my own skin now. Enjoy the attention, take it for what it is....and you never know...those guy friends may be fighting over you soon! Claudia

Actually, now I struggle with the fact that I've lost weight, and still look like crap naked (excess skin, saggy boobs), so while I get the attention, I have no confidence to act on it...

I initially felt that way till it was my turn to not be attracted to someone. I felt hmmm he's interested in me the least I could do is not be judgemental and give him a chance. Wrong! There was just nothing there. So it is nothing personal. Just go with your feelings. If the attraction isn't there don't second guess and think well he didn't like me before screw him.... just enjoy yourself and go with how you feel. I hope that I made some sense here. Toni

Kate--these are some very valid questions, and you are the best person to answer them for yourself. I strongly recommend counseling, which I have gone through myself, which will help you find your answers. Good luck!! Lynn
