Post-Oper ----> GAS PAINS ARE HORRID!!!!
Hi everyone!
I had my lap rny on Fri. Dec 17th and all went well relating to my surgery... The doctor said it was very textbook... This is the first major surgery I've ever had so to me it was a very big and scary deal for me...
I just want all this excess gassy feeling to go away... I've been doing what they told me at the hospital and it just seems like it will never end... It's been so horrible that it wakes me up at night, my belly becomes rock hard, I get pain in my right shoulder and my belly aches but can't pass anything... If I am lucky I burp a little or if I am really lucky I can toot... I'm just totally miserable with that right now and its made me so sleep deprived... I think since I went in to the hospital on Friday I've had maybe 8 hours total over the past 4 days.... I need a good nights sleep!!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated??????

Hi Chelle:
Happy Holidays!!!!!!I hope as of today, the gas is becoming less painful.
You have to walk....I have had 2 C-Sections, and gallbladder surgery----that is the best thing for you....keep walking!!!!!!!
God bless you, and looking forward to hearing great things coming from you.
Sincerely,
Stephanie Wilcox
The gas is getting much better now I am finally happy to say!! What a relief it is to have that feeling pass (no pun intended - lol)... I notice when I stay active my tummy loosens up and feels much better than if I sit around... I for sure didn't go thru this to sit around, I can't wait to be able to run with my niece and nephew again... The more moving you seem to do the better it gets... Thanks to all of you for your suggestions for helping my gas pains!!! I'm glad they are lessening now...
Sincerely,
Michelle
