John, Congratulations. What kind of diet does your surgeon have you on know. I was sent home from the hospital on a pureed diet (with a goal of at least 50gm of protein a day). I have been having 2 protein shakes each day to help meet the protein requirement. My meals have consisted of oatmeal, scrambled egg, tuna, refried beans, yogurt, ricotta cheese and chili. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Mary

Hi John Glad to hear all went well. I was sent home on liquid diet. So I did broth with an egg whipped into it, protein shakes and tried some unflavored protein powder into drinks. Good Luck. Tina

Hi John and Welcome to the losing side. I came home on soft foods. I had a scrambeled egg with cheese, refried beans(old el paso is good)with shedded cheese. i also love pastina in chicken roth with a beaten egg or ricotta cheese with a modemade meatball or two in sause.breakstone makes cottage cheese doubles..never though id eat that..but i liked it. What a wonderful gift you have given you and your family.Merry Christmas All the Best! Tracey

Hi John! Congrats on having a very successful recovery so far... I went in on Friday morning 12/17 for my lap RNY... Everything went fairly well for me as well although this gas pain is something else when it wakes you up at night like it does to me... I am feeling very sleep deprived right now but other than that I am doing pretty well too... Take care and once again congrats! Chelle In NNY
