Hello there AMOS family!!! It has been a few days since my post, but I am taking my recovery as easy as possible. I tried to venture out on Tuesday only to find that I was NOT ready and came home in some pain and feeling dizzy. So from here on out, I will not go out alone! I am only 8 days out and I need to know how much exercise I should be doing at this point. All I have been doing is light housework and a little walking... I want to exercise so that I can lose this weight. I don't go back to the Surgeon until the 21st to have my staples removed and hopefully then I will have lost some weight and he will put me on pureed foods. I will keep everyone posted.

I think it will depend on your surgeon. I had open surgery on Dec 1st and started walking on the treadmill and riding my exercise bike 3 days after coming home from the hospital. My surgeons rule is no lifting more than 10 pounds and do as much or as little exercise as you feel you can at this point. I hope this helps Kathi
