Hi Julie They say a lot about Buffalo when they are talking about winter, you guys sure get the snow over your neck of the woods. The wind blows and it SNOWS there Here we get the cold weather big time every year at this time. We will have 2 weeks or more of below zero weather for a high during the day, it does make it hard since I lost all my FAT and I freeze so fast now, what I need is a little extra body heat to keep me warm. thumbsup: Have a Happy Holiday and think warm thoughts Tony

Hi Stef Glad to see that you like the rest of us NYers can relate to these sayings, now over here where I live 35 miles North of Lake George we have a whole bunch of seasons. Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, Mud Season now that one really sucks, Black Fly season, (ouch) and Mosquito Season and the BEST "HUNTING SEASON" So I guess I covered them all, what do you think? Happy Holidays Tony

Hi Susan, Saranac Lake is nice and it is cold there in the winter but I dont live there. I live in a town called Schroon Lake which is about 1 hour from Saranac Lake, it gets cold here to and we do get our fair share of snow also. Happy Holidays to you Tony

Hi Margaret We dont live that far from one another, its like 75 or 80 miles or so. The lakes up here in NY are so nice to be near with all the summer stuff to do but the winters are hard for sure. You have yourself a great Holiday and think SNOW Tony

Hi Tony: Happy Holidays from a fellow former "Wildcat". Do you remember where Lohrmans deli used to be? I used to live at 36 Main Street, where the High Noon Cafe I think is there??????? Sincerely, Stephanie W.

Hi Stephanie Yes I know right where the High Noon is but it has not been open for some time now, I dont know how long its been since you were here but Ed ownes it now and maybe still did when you lived here. Mr Lohrman died this year as he was really sick for some time, downtown has a few places closed and now for the winter looks like a GHOST TOWN. The bar is still the hot spot in town though The town has not changed much since I lived here and the weather has been really cold but not much snow yet and we need snow so I can ride the sled. Glad to hear from a fellow towns person and hope you have had a great Christmas and Happy New Year. Tony
