Ya I'm on the loosing side!

Hay everyone. I got home from the hospital last night around 7pm after having open on dec 1st. The surgery went great. I am doing well. I did catch a cold in the hospital and am having alot of gas so I'm alittle uncomfortable right now. Coughing with staples in your belly should be illegal!! I came home from the hospital off almost all my medications that I have been taken for years and will come off a few more as the weight starts to come off-how great is that. I will update more soon but for now I have to keep walking to keep the gas pains at bay. Thanks to all of you for your love and prayers. You guys are the greatest Kathi

Kathi- One piece of advice.... when you have to cough use a pillow against your incision. It helps sooooooooooo much! Janet

Kathi~~ Congratulations--your a loser. Sorry about that cold! Listen to Janet about using that pillow, it will make a big difference. Try walking as much as you can, that will help with that gas! Keep sipping water, that helps too!! Looking forward to your updates!!
