Dr. Brathwaite

it will be 2 weeks this coming tuesday since i had my surgery.
dr. brathwaite is an wonderful surgeon and on the board for new york state which sets guidelines for bariatric surgery as well. he recently started the bariatric program at st. catherine's hospital and is trying to make it the best.
i do have to say that the care i received at st. catherine's before surgery, recovery and icu were wonderful. however 3 south which is the floor you stay on after icu leaves much to be desired. you are cared for and maybe my situation was isolated, but it still was not the level of care i had expected from this new program.
the other thing is that i don't think you will see dr.b post-op. he has a p.a. and she will see you and address your needs.
i highly recommend dr.brathwaite to anyone in this area looking for a surgeon. i think that there isn't anyone more qualified or knowledegable.
