Getting the skin off!!

Well i have lost 176lbs and on jan 12th im getting a torsoplasty (front and back skin taken off) Has anyone had this done? If so, how long were you out of work and how long does the pain last. I like to think i can tolerate pain pretty well, im just concerned becuase i cant afford to be outta work 6 weeks like some people have been telling me. I was back to work 2 weeks after my inital surgery, which i think is pretty normal. I dont have too much of a weight baring job... any thoughts, let me know! thanks all, hope everyone had a great thanksgiving! Jayme

Congrats on the loss. I am still pre-op but I have heard some say the plastics hurt more then the wls. I would say just take your time and listen to your body.

My insurance is community blue and they are covering the front part and i am paying for the back skin removal. I cant wait!!! thanks for the well wishes Jayme
