Nice to See You Celena~~~ So you have been dancing and getting lots of attention---I say--- Good For You!!! I am so happy for you!! We tend to hide before we had WLS and now there is no stopping us!!! Please do not get discouraged about your weight loss slowing down. Your body needs time to adjust to that tremendous loss you have accomplished. You will get to your goal of 150, it just will take a little longer!! Just keep that protein and water going!!!

HI Alice I am little over two weeks post op, struggling a bit with what works, what doesn't, not wanting to eat (believe it or not), should I have done this etc. But it's done now and I am down 30 pounds already and should be ecstatic. I am sure that will eventually kick in. It's people like you that inspire people like me to keep me going! Thanks Tina

Tina~~~ Sending you lots of {{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}} CONGRATULATIONS on that 30 lb weight loss It will get better-I promise you!! What your feeling right now is very normal--you just had major surgery. It does take time to see what sits well and what doesn't!! Just make sure your getting in enough water right now---SF ice pops are a great way to do this. Have you tried some hot tea or broth yet? Each day you should be able to get in a little more of the protein that you need. Just follow your drs food plan and post any and all questions that you have. You will get lots of suggestions here. Try and get outside today and just take in the sunshine!! Walking really does help with everything!!!

Hey Alice Good to hear from you. I have been very busy here @ work and at home. I am 7 months po-op now and I am 3lbs from my goal weight. These are the hardest 3 lbs that will not go away it has been weeks since I have lost anything but as it is said when we r not losing weinght we are losing inches and I believe this to be true I can now fit into a small (4-6) pants HURRAY down from a 22-24 pants. Also when Monica from Obesity Help posted a few weeks back about being a Support group leader. I answered her and she sent me all the info and I have done the required training I was supposed to with her in confrence calls and now I can do my own support groups. HURRAY I am most likely going to start them in January sometime and I will be posting about it soon on the board to see if some people would like to come. I will be holding them in my home. I was thinking of doing them on a Saturday (we will see) I hope this really goes well. I really would love to give back if ya know what I mean Well I hope you have a Wonderful Holiday Season {{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}} Evelyn
