Hey everybody, Hope you are all doing well tonite. I am two weeks post op and notice that anytime I eat, I get an overall feeling of nauesousness (sp?). Not liquids but things like eggs or creamy soup. Is this normal, it almost makes me not want to eat. HELP! Tina

Hi Tina It could be the eggs and the creamy soups. It may be too much on your pouch right now. My surgeon would not allow me to eat anything until 4 weeks post op. I was on full liquids for 4 weeks. I was only allowed to have clear broth, sf jello, sf ice pops, skim milk, tea, coffee, unsweetened apple sauce, sf pudding and of course plenty of water. Try to stay away from the creamy things and eggs for a while. If you continue to have that problem, call your surgeon. I hope I helped somewhat. Glenda

Tina- It could be the eggs/ and or creamy soups. They may just be too heavy for you right now. Ease off of them and try other things and see if you get the same results. Good luck!!!! Isn't it fun trying to figure out what the heck to eat!!!! Janet

Hi Tina, I had my surgery 2weeks ago too. I have had trouble with alot of things not staying down. I found that creamy soups are to heavy but chicken soup is ok. I also found cottage cheese and yogurts seem to be ok. I hope this helps. Tammy
