Hello everyone, I hope you had a wonderful Holiday. I have some quick questions, that I am concerned about. I am 6 days away from being 3 months post-op and my weight lost seems to be at a stand still, for about 3 weeks now, what can cause this to happen, or is this just something that happens? Next, do you have to take medications with food (multi-vitamin, Axid, Ursodol, calium)? Can I take them with my protein shake? Next is it ok to take the multi-vitamin at the same time as the calium, because I heard, they are more effective taken separately? It would be great if anyone has advice on these matters, because I want to make sure am doing everthing right and taking my medications the best way, so they will be effective. Thanks Armena

Hey Armena I just want to say hello. Don't worry to much about being at a stand still. My surgeon said it is expected. Just continue drinking your water and exercise. Sorry I can't be of much help. I hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving. {{{{{hugs}}}}} Glenda

Twin Dont worry about the stand still. I have not lost a pound in 2 weeks. But I have been told it is to be expected. I have lost a total of 62lbs and now I am stuck at 195lb. 1. From what I have researched on my own I have found out that the amount of protein and calories could cause a stop in weight loss. 2. I think you should take your vitamins and calcium separately. 3. I usually take all my medications with water only. Hope this helps. Love Mery &

HELLO TWIN That's what I needed to hear, thanks. I was a little depressed. I have to pay better attention to what am eating as well. I think its easy to forget that just because its smaller portions doesn't mean we can eat anything, sometimes the smallest portions can carry the most calories. So I'm trying a new life time approach. Am paying close attention to my sugar, carbs, fats, proteins, and calories (because they add up). I was told also we have to get the water in, it also helps with the slow down. Oh and am going to start working out on Saturday , Am going to start off slow but am starting. Thanks for the advice with the medication, some other people told me the same thing, thanks. Oh I found a site that has alot of good tips, if you haven't checked it out yet, you should. http://www.wlsgirl.com/ Until next time please take care and God Bless Armena
