Meeting A Mermaid

I went to the hospital to see Melissa yesterday and she is doing great! Well, maybe great isnt a good word for it exactly but she is doing way better than I was 2 days post op. When I got there she was able to sit up in bed and talk to me. Got to meet her husband who is a doll and her daughter who is adorable! She looks like Shirley Temple and was really nice! Melissa is just as sweet as you'd expect. She is just like I knew she would be and I was so glad that I went. She felt badly that a few of you called and she wasnt much able to talk but I assured her that you'd all understand that. She is very nice! She isn't able to get around much yet but I bet today they'll really have her up and around. The surgery was text book and she seems to be doing very well. The room she is in is lovely too. When I was there it wasn't yet redone but they did a great job remodeling the rooms at Lenox Hill. I don't think it has all hit her quite yet. She sure waited a long time for this. Hugs, Margie

Hi Margie, I am so jealous..i love that woman and will meet her someday.She has helped me so much and has always been there for me I am glad you got to go see her. I finally got to talk to her after calling the WRONG number about 50 times..they kept giving me the wrong number and the operators there were so hateful..anyway..i got the right number and got to hear her voice and i know she will be find now.
