I AM HUNGRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HI JANET,Iam going thru liquid diet now .My dr reguires you to loose 20 to 30 pounds before surgery. MY surgery is dec 13 .I get two drinks a day (lowcarb slimfast) and a piece of chicken and small veg. I am going thru some of the wanting stage now at first i was upset now i think this is good. I am getting the carbs out and sugar. Boy do i want things Hang in there you are on the losing side GLORIA

Hey Janet I'm so sorry to hear about what you are going through. I am so waiting for that to happen to me as I know it will very soon!!! THe liquid diet thing is really hard. I really didn't prepare and have enough things on hand. I'd rather not eat then drink another freaking drink or broth UGU!!! Hang in there it's got to get better. Having kids & hubby in the house really doesn't help especially since my little guy who isn't really a sweet eater just loves his oreos and my husband who had pumpkin bread for breakfast said to me today You know pumpkin bread is really good. (Can you say divorce? Nah just kidding) but it is really hard. Before surgery I said that I had eaten enough junk to last me two lifetimes and enough was enough but after all this liquid.... Do you have a drain? I get mine taken out tomorrow and think I will probably feel much better then. What protein drinks do you like? Tina

Tina- Ya know the wierd thing that happened on Monday it was like a switch and I determinied I am stronger than my desire for CRAP!!!!! The cravings had subsided quite a bit. I did have a drain but it was taken out before I left the hospital. Protein drinks...... hmm I found one today I DID NOT LIKE!!! It was Nectar Roadside Lemonade. It was sickingly sweet and I could not even drink it!!!!! I do like the Nectar Carribean cooler, it was nice and smooth. I have also used some of the unjury unflavored in my soup. The Problend 55 vanilla and Isopure Dutch chocolate are not bad either. I went to vitalady.com and got a bunch of samples. How are you feeling? Janet
