Hi A couple of days ago you posted about a protein drink that was 55grams, I think that is what I saw. Can you let me know what it is where to get it? This protein thing is harder than I thought it would be and I need to branch out. Thanks, Tina

Tina- There are a few actually. Check out vitalady.com they have all kinds of protein stuff and you can get them in samples. The one you were referring to is Problend 55. The problem is its like 2 scoops in like 8oz. Now we had surgery same day so dont know about you but I cannot drink that much at one time! Also go to unjury.com, they have an unflavored protein. I have made it in my tomatoe soup and chicken broth for this stage of the game, and it adds about 10g of protein per 1/2 C serving. Good luck, hope you're still feeling well!!! Janet

Hi guys..... I've been told by 2 nutritionists that your body can't absorb more than 30 g. protein at any one time.....so stick w/ the 55 g stuff, and don't worry that you're not getting the 55 g at once....you wouldn't be able to use it all anyway! Claudia

Thanks Claudia- I had actually heard that too about not being able to absorb more than 30g. I did try a Caribbean cooler from nectar this am for bfast. Mixed with 4oz of cold H2O it provided 34 g of protein and was quite tasty!!!!! Janet
