After I had my surgery in April, I was out of work for two months. I was dropping weight rapidly and could not afford new clothes every few weeks, so I started frequenting a thrift shop run by the Senior Citizens, all proceeds go to help seniors in need. The cost is minimal, anything you can fit in a bag for $4.30. I started collecting clothes for "The Journey". One day I found a red plaid dress with a matching little vest with snowmen on it. I also collect snowmen so I knew I had to have it. It was a size 14, I debated...would I be able to EVER wear a 14, afterall, all my life I wore at least a 24, and at the time of my surgery, I was wearing a 30/32 or 4X. Well...I got it anyways. This morning I was going through clothes and decided to try it on...and IT FIT!!!! I will be wearing it Christmas Eve!! You don't know how thrilling that was to put it on and it fits and looks GOOD. When your a 4X, nothing fits properly or looks good!! I am so thankful to God for opening up the doors to have this life changing, not to mention LIFE SAVING surgery!! I just HAD to brag abit!!!!
