New Here

Hi. I am new to this forum. I have a consultation with Dr. McKane in Horseheads, NY on Dec. 6th. Very nervous about whether or not I will be able to have this surgery. I have had a weight problem since being a teenager. Now I have back problems, arthritis and DDD. I will try to post my success and any problems along the way. I hope I can ask questions as I go along my journey Thanks.

Thanks I will be asking lots of questions when I go. I am concerned whether or not I can have surgery as I have an ulcer. I read here some place that it might be a problem. Also, I am very concerned about the risks. I really need a support group. Thanks.

Thank you all!! Can you help me as to what questions I should ask when I go for my consult with the Dr.? I know he has a lot of experience and I am not sure what to ask except about the risks. Are there any set of questions to ask? Thanks for your help. Brenda
