Any patient of Dr. Robert Cole out of Horsehead, NY office was told to buy the book and read it before they made the decision about having WLS and that was a good thing so you could really know if the surgery is what you want to do. I read the book enjoyed it and from time to time. I still go back and look at the book if. I need some questions answered its a book that any patient that has Gastric Bypass should have and. I do recommend it. I also receive email from Barbara Thompson that was another thing that was great about it if you bought the book she would also put you on her email list matter a fact. I just finish looking at the Web page that was sent in my email just a few day. So go and enjoy her seminar, I hope that 1 of these days are support group could bring her to are city.

Hi Angela~~So Nice to See You
Good Idea, that your dr told you to read that book. It good that after WLS you can get those much needed questions answered. I have not read it, but am planning to attend the support group meeting. How nice of her to send you an e-mail and put you on her list. Thanks for the response and recommendation. I hope that your doing great--post an update when you get some time.
Hi Alice,
I read the book as a post-op and still found it helpful and inspiring. I also had the opportunity to hear her speak in person in January of this year. I recommend to anyone, if they have the opportunity to do so, that it is worth the effort to meet her and hear her speak. She is a very dynamic lady.
