~MARILYN...........oh marilyn..............
Hey my Alice!
I miss you and I miss everyone here on the boards! I will finally have my Roadrunner working by tomorrow, I'm Internetless at the new house. So that's why I have not been able to log on as I have wanted. Hopefully Time Warner will get it right this time LOL!
I'm doing great, I am at my surgeons goal weight, I am still in shock that I have lost all this weight with the help of this fabulous tool. Anyone who says this is the easy way out needs to do some serious research because this was NOT easy any way you look at it. But I am very happy and I feel like a whole new person. I have to take some new pictures to update my Profile soon.
I hope you had a wonderful Birthday Alice!!
Love and miss you all!
Marilyn
CONGRATULATIONS on being at your surgeon's goal weight!! And your New Home!!!!!!!
You said it----it is not easy! Even at 2 yrs 3 months, I have those days, when my pouch rules!!! Sometimes I eat something and it sits great--the next time I get soooo sick from the same foods!!
Marilyn is right--You need to do Serious Research and attend Lots of Support Group Meeting. Ask ALL the important questions of your surgeon BEFORE WLS!! You must also find out about the Food Plan, what you are allowed to have and for how long.....every surgeon is different. For many, the first 4-6 weeks are the hardest, but it does get better.
Post and ask all the questions here---post-ops can give you lots of suggestions. But ALWAYS follow your drs advice and ALWAYS call him when you have any questions.
I wish everyone an easy journey to WLS. And remember.......there is a JOURNEY TO TAKE AFTER WLS too!!!
