1 month post op/28lbs.
Hi Michelle,
We had our surgeries just a day apart! I lost 27 lbs. in the first month, and I'm fairly happy w/that (I'd have been happier w/ 35!). I'm finding protein and water are the key to loss. My loss had stalled in the last few days, and I tried a new protein shake (soy) and increased my water a LOT, and in 2 days 4 lbs fell off! Exercise has been a life-saver for me too. I'm actually enjoying physical activity for the first time in years, and am officially smaller than when I got married!! YAY!

Thanks for the info. I have only in the last week realized that because I was not getting enough water or protein, that my weight stalled out. So you are right on point. The only problem is that I'd love to exercise, but am quite limited at the moment(open incision). I do hope to get right into it as soon as I can though. Thanks again for the encouragement.
