I found this on the Medline plus page. It is a clinical Trial for strength training after WLS. The critria is you have to be 18 to 53 female and have a NYC local address Be a CANIDATE FOR GASTRIC BYPASS SURGERY be severly obese and willing to visit the hospital weekly. It sounds to me like it might be a way for someone to get surgery that can't get approved through insurance.
