I am 9 months post op and I have recently noticed some bruising on my arms and legs, but I did not think anything about it till today, when I noticed two more large bruises on my legs... has anyone had this trouble? does it have anything to do with my WLS? Is it a indication of a low level of any vitimans? I would like any help Alberto

Alberto, You may want to call and ask your surgoen if your iron level was okay on your last blood test. Many people when their iron is low will bruise alot easier. Best of luck, Teri

Oh my, Do you look great! I'm sorry to hear about the bruising. It sounds like your iron is down. I would get that checked. I found it very interesting that we have the same doctors. Im scheduled to have Dr. Gabriel and de Csepel do my RNY on November 16th. I'm so scared. How were they with your surgery? Kristie Marie

Hi there Alberto, Congrads on your great weight loss. You look great. I would ask your Dr about the bruising. I never had that. Has he done your bloodwork to check out you blood profiles. I would call him. Keep up the great work Lorraine

I am making an appointment to see my doctor for blood work, in the mean time I have started eating more green veggies and taking an Iron pill daily. I am so grateful to everyone who wrote, it is so good to have a place to go where other people are going to the same issues, it makes it much easier Thanks Albert
