Hi there Angela, Good Luck with your weight loss research or do you have a date yet? Every DR has a different recipe for what they want you to take. I am almost one year post-op and I am taking the same vitamins post-op as I took pre-op. Talk to you dr as to what he wants you to take. I take 1 multi vitmin, 1 iron tablet, calcium, biotin to regrow my hair back and B-12 shots monthly. My blood work is excellent. There are no lows in anything. Like I said ask your DR before you buy anything. Hope I helped...Lorraine

Lorraine - What type/brand of Biotin do you use? I need help with my hair, and don't want to waste money on products that don't work Thanks! Mel

Hi there Mel. I buy my Biotin at the Vitamin Shoppe. I buy Biotin 5 mg. I take it once a day. I think it has helped my hair to grow back. You can try it.... I love the Vitamin Shoppe. I hope I was a help to you. Lorraine

Hi Angela! We're almost neighbors. I get my calcium citrate in BJ's. They are big, non-chewable pills. I've had no problem with pills. I used to take the Flintstone's chewables in the beginning, but have since switched to a Centrum equivalent (again from BJ's). OK. I'm cheap! Good luck with your surgery!
