Hello Angela, The first 30 minutes was about 2 teens that had the surgery and the problems they faced, it was a great show I thought. Sorry that you missed the begining, I wish I could have taped it but I only have a DVD player..... Take care Debra Peace

Hey there Deb! How r u and the fmaily? Listen Deb Last night I posted to you and my computer kicked me off. So I will try again. What I was saying to you was yes this was a good show and I do feel people need to realize that this is only a tool it is not a miracle surgery where you wake up am Bam all the weight is going to ber gone over night. There is so much that needs to be learned before having this surgery. I researched the RNY surgery for 2 years and yes it comes with the good but there is also a down side that some people don't seem to really understand. Like I said I did theresearch and I did know all about the pro's and the Cons before I had the surgery. There is a very positive side to this surgery but hey let's get realistic , this is a surgery that could have a horrible ending (like for some people, I was scared oh boy! But I knew if I wanted it bad enough I would have to be ready to make a whole life change for the rest of my life and there was no turning back. Food was my best friend and believe me I did go through the mopurning of feeling like I lost my best friend. I did worry about the risk of dying from the surgery but then I said ya know if I keep going the way I am going I am going to die from being obese What I am trying to say is to everyone *****ads this PLEASE make sure you know all about the surgery before you decide you want to do it. I have to say I am very grateful for having a second chance at life and it feels wonderful. Yes I have had a few problems (nothing Major, Thank God) But I would do it again in a heart beat. Also you have to remember everyone is different and what works for one person does not always mean it will work for another. So now that I have said what I wanted to say ( Sorry for going on and on and on but I do care about everyone here and I want to make sure you all know what will be going on in your if you choose to have the surgery. So May all of you pre-ops Have a uncomplicated surgery and a speedy recovery and to all the post-ops may you all have a wonderful journey and have a life with no complications . Love Evelyn {{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}
