Hi Alice It is so good to hear from you. I missed you and wondered what happend. Glad to know that you and the family are well. You are such an inspiration to this board and I missed seeing your posts. I am doing well; as of 10/22 I was down 27 lbs. I can drink a little more water than before; I'm still working on soft foods. My pouch is somewhat sensitive so I have to be careful. I'm taking it one day at a time. My doctor gave me the ok to resume the gym. I go at least 3x a week for about 1 1/2 hours. So far everything is working out well. I worked out a little longer on Wed and I think I hurt my lower back, so I'm taking it easy the rest of the week. I went back to work on 10/25 and the first week was very tiresome. It felt like I never left When the weekend came, I the entire weekend. This week was not too bad; however, I do work at home now at least 2 days a week; that helps. How do you manage during the holidays? Thanksgiving is coming up and to see all that food I can't will be a little rough. Peace and God's blessings to you and your family always. Glenda

Glenda Hello~~ Your doing GREAT--27 lbs already!!! Glad to hear that your getting in more water and just keep working on those soft foods. Sorry that you have a sensitive pouch---in the beginning eating foods that after leftovers, can give you trouble, just thought I would let you know. That first week back too work can really get to you, but happy to see that this week you are feeling stronger! Try getting in as much protein as you can, that always helps the energy level. To tell you the truth Glenda, I never had any problems with cravings, or missing any foods. I still do not eat any rice, pasta or sweets and keep my carbs low. Looking at all that food never bothers me and I just love to cook!! I have been truly blessed! But sometimes, even at 27 months out, my head thinks that one day I will wake up and want to eat everything in sight! I still just take one day at a time. And thanks so much for your kind words. Enjoy the day!

Hi Glenda, how are you doing, its good to hear you lost 27lbs, wow you go girl. It's good to hear you're back at work and all is well. I joined a gym also, but I started a new job this week so I have found it hard to find time for the gym, but next week am going no matter what. Be careful, don't over do it. I know how you feel, my first week back to work was a mess, all I did was sleep every chance I got. Wow, the holiday's I have been trying not to think about them, aside from all the food, am tired of everyone watching what and how much I eat. Most of my family don't know about the WLS, so they will be looking forward to stuffing me , you know I was the big girl in the pass, anyway it's good to hear your doing well. Take care Armena

Hey Armena Girl, how are you? It's been a while. How are you doing with your foods and liquids? I know what you mean by everyone watching on what and how much you eat. I get that sometimes . I go to Lucille Roberts and they stay open late during the week; so I go at least 2 - 3 times during the week after work. I also have a few tapes at home, so when I can't go, I do at least a 1/2 hour workout. It is so good hearing from you. Congratulations on your new job and I wish you all the best. Please keep in touch. {{{{{hugs}}}}} Glenda
