Liquid Diets?

I know that evryone here knows I trying to lose weight but this is nto for me...it is for my dearest mother who could not go for her surgery due to her not being able to lose weight by the date they had given her. she actually gained. I heard of this liquid diet...but dont have info on it...could someone please give me info on this and let me know how to follow it. Thanks Mandee

I was on a liquid diet called medifast pre-op. my doctor requires all his patients to be on it at least 3 weeks before surgery. here is the web address medifast1.com. I know you can also go through a doctor but its not covered on insurance or you can just order it over the internet. once you make it past the first few days its not bad. I lost like 14 lbs first week and 11 the second and I think 9 the third. Hope that helps some.
