Question for Patients of Dr. O'Malley

Do any of you know if Dr. O'Malley has lost many patients? The reason i'm asking is I was reading the Memorial page and now i'm super paranoid now. It seems that alot of those people have died due to problems with blood clots. I'm such a worry wart that now i'm dwelling on this and my husband warned me not to look at it. I'm going to have my surgery sometime in March with Dr. O'Malley. I'm still going through with it, just a bit scared now.

Dr. O'Malley has had an extremely good record. He has done over 1,500 surgeries and, to my knowledge (from what had been discussed a few months ago on another support board) has only had 1 or 2 deaths which were both due to existing health issues. With any surgery there is always a risk but I went with Dr. O and had little concern over any major complications - he seems to have few.
