THANKS FOR YOUR KIND WORDS AND PRAYERS
Hi:
I just want to thank everyone for your kind words and prayers. I had surgery on the 14th so I am a week out and starting to feel better. When I came home from the hospital I thought I was going to feel awful for the rest of my life. I was just so tired and my body ached not to mention every thing I drank felt like it was a big gas bomb in stomach. I was taking my pain medication twice a day.
Then I woke up Wednesday [10-20] with no pain but very fatigued all day. Just felt like I was dragging but I had no pain. I was crying and just in a sucky mood. Slept almost all day off and on. Then I woke up this morning [10-21] exactly one week since surgery and it was like a weight had been lifted. I could not believe the difference I felt in my body. I had no pain and woke up feeling like I had a good nights sleep. Wow!
I have even been advanced to stage 2 of the diet and had oatmeal for breakfast. It was like eating a small slice of heaven. Man oatmeal never tasted so good! I did not have any pain or vomiting after it was a great morning.
The road to recovery is slow but it happens. We just have to hang in there.
Hi Crystal
I hear alot of people after surgery get very tired for some time and than booooommmm you have more energery.
Sound like you are doing well now and I'm glad to hear that. Just continue to follow your doctor instructions and you will be there before you know it.
Wishing you the best through out your journey.
