Cost of WLS in NY

Does anyone know of the approximate cost to a self payer to have WLS in New York State. I received an email from a lady in Ontario, Canada who is interested in coming to NY for her surgery.Any help will be appreciated. Jeannine S.

Mine here in Buffalo, NY was $21,000

I forgot to say that that amount was all inclusive [hospital, Dr. Caruana, everything]. Dr. C's part of that is $5000 and he does have payment plans. Tell your friend good luck!

My surgeon charges like $50k, the hospital charges like $15k.

My Dr. submitted for $17,000 to Oxford. I know she knew she wasn't going to collect that. I don't know what she asks for self payers. I do however, think they are worth every penny of what they ask.
