Great Escape
I am so excited! Today is the first day in years that I'm going to the Great Escape. It's "Hero's Week" so teachers (me!), EMT's, Veterans, etc get in free. I'm going with a couple of teacher friends. I am so looking forward to being able to walk around without having to find a bench all the time. And, I can actually go on the water rides. I used to always be over the weight limit. So pumped! Now just to avoid the fried stuff and get a dinner that an ok choice.. bringing protein bars just incase!

I have 2 more days of summer school then off till Labor Day. Tomorrow is beach day at the school. Not looking forward to the bathing suit thighs that are sagging like an elephants!
I am baking goodies for the kids tomorrow and chocolate chip cookie bars for my kids at home. I have had enough cookie dough to make me wanna vomit!

I went to Universal Studios in Florida a couple of weeks ago.
It's a liberating feeling being able to fit on to rides again!!
When I was there four years ago. I was embarrased as I wasn't able to get on to the Hulk ride.
Not only did I get on to the Hulk Ride. I was able to do Harry Potter, Dueling Dragons, Dr. Doom and several other rides.

Yes, It's amazing how much energy you have not carrying around another person. I lost 125 pounds since December. I also had the additional motivation of my 11 year old son. It was great going with him. He had the time of his life. He was screaming at the top of his lungs that this was the most fun he had in his entire life as we were doing the loops on the Hulk.
