Wow, I�am so sorry to hear this. I�don't know if there are any that have experience with weight loss surgery.�Head over to Facebook and searh for the group - Capital District of NY WLS Support.�Post on the wall what you are looking for, you may find someone that can give you some names.
I also go to a weekly support group that may be able to help you a bit. We meet every Thursday, 5:30 -�7:30 pm�at�Albany Medical Center South Campus at 25 Hackett Blvd. We are starting to see more people that have had or are planning�to have VSG. And we do talk about the good, the bad and the ugly of all WLS.

Just want to add - the support group is lead by a social worker. She may be able to help you find someone to talk to outside of group.
