Dawn is right it was mentioned as a 3 mile walk..
HOWEVER.... this is NOT a timed RACE... more like a stroll... very slow pace for whomever wishes to take it slowly. People are encouraged just TO SHOW UP! not even walk if they aren't up to it. It shows how obesity impacts our lives!
This is a fund raising event for research into causes and treatments of obesity.
There will be a number of vendors there as well- not sure what... perhaps Curves or other gym representatives.... perhaps a healthfood store??? don't really know... but it should be a very nice morning/day for those able to show up....
