Finally got approved!!

Well, this journey began on June 12th, and today I finally got my approval for my lap-band surgery. My date is set - Sept. 25th with Dr. Weiss! I am SO happy! I've lost 22 pounds since this started and some people have said, why have the surgery - you are losing weight.. Well, I just want to be sure I continue to do so.

I LOST 46-47 POUNDS BEFORE SURGERY. I TOO HAD PEOPLE ASKING ME WHY I WAS HAVING THE SURGERY SINCE I WAS LOSING WEIGHT JUST BEING IN THE PROGRAM. I HAD MY REASONS. I SHARED THE REASON WITH THE PEOPLE I KNEW ACTUALLY GIVE 2 ****S ABOUT ME, THE PEOPLE THAT WERE JUST BEING NOSEY I TOLD THEM IT WAS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS. NEEDLESS TO SAY I HAD DIABETIES AND HIGH CHOLESTEROL, I HAD MY SURGERY AND HAVE BEEN MED FREE FOR BOTH THE DIABETIES AND CHOLESTEROL SHORTLY AFTER SURGERY. JUST IGNORE PEOPLE AND DO IT FOR YOU!!!! IT TRULY IS THE BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE (BESIDES HAVING MY 2 KIDS) GOOD LUCK ON YOUR JOURNEY!!

Thanks for posting!!! I know what you mean about nosey people! For heavens sake, I also think they should look in their own windows! I'm so looking forward to this!!!! I've learned, at almost 60, to ignore the idiots.. it makes life so much easier!

I agree completely! LOL! I have sooooo many ppl look at me with a "I can't believe you wanna do this" look on their faces..one person actually had the nerve to just tell me it was a stupid decision.I looked at her and said,"Well, you aren't the one carrying around all this weight so what do you care whether I have the surgery or not!" LOL! I just get sick of ppl *****ally are just jealous.
