I never knew how exhilerating jogging could be. Even though I have lost 80 lbs, I still considered my self to heavy to jog so I always did a brisk walk. Yesterday on the last 4 minutes of my workout on the treadmil I jogged and it felt good. I then jogged home. I feel great but sore.

You are absolutely right.  I just finished my first 5K (trained for about 13 weeks prior) and am going to continue running.  It helps me to destress.  Plus, it makes me sweat so I know I am getting a great workout.  The soreness will go away after about a week.  If you enjoy it, stick with it.  I'm at the point now where I don't get sore anymore.  Keep up the exercise!!

I love it too just be careful and be sure your using a very strong sports bra--I ripped the muscle away form my chest (sprained my boobs) in Feb and it is painful and slow to heal.

201 pounds lost since surgery!! And I'm 2 1/2 inches taller too!!

And YES I still eat Carbs and Fats but I know what portion control is!!

I run 3 to 4 days a week about 2 miles at a time...doing much more walking now for longer distances.
