ANYONE having surgery at Ellis toward the end of next week?
Just wondering because I'm having mine on Thursday, 23rd.
I am scheduled for 11:15 so maybe there is someone that is before me. Another patient of Dr. Clarke's or Dr. Ingram or Dr. Panemanglore's??? Perhaps I would see someone walking the halls...
I met some folks getting their pre-ops done, but I don't think they had their surgery dates as yet. I told them to check out this site but - haven't seen anything posted by either one of them.
Ah well- I'll be thinking of al the before & after photos and picture myself there!

Hi - Good luck next week. I'll be thinking of you and hoping for a great outcome! Debbie

Dr. Panamanglore did my surgery and it went wonderful!!
I haven't had one problem since and am down 85 lbs!!
You will be amazed!
I did not take anything with me to the hospital except chapstick and a clean pair of undies. I wore the clothes home that I went to the hospital in! They have everything and you will not be there long. Less is best!
Good Luck,
Lisa
Hi - sorry about delay in answering... was away for weekend.
ok here it is- No not fully packed yet.
planning on taking my Warm robe- because I know after surgery I get chills; also taking a pair of pj bottoms for under my lovely hospital gown- so i can go walking in comfort.
I think i'll wear my crocs to the hospital & use them as slippers since they are so stinking comfy. ugly but comfy.
a little makeup - mascara- lip goop-
my pillow to hold on belly- It won't get confused with hospital ones!
My friend sent me a pillow when I had my hyster...
It is a huge YELLOW WOODSTOCK- you know the bird from the comic strip. the belly on the pillow is just the right size! gives other people a laugh & a smile besides making me feel better.
my CPAP machine can't forget the CPAP machine!
Dr. Clarke is my surgeon. I did meet Dr. Panemangelor and he also seemed very nice. Glad to hear everyone had nice things to say about Ellis.
I'm heading to bed - should have gone hours ago....
