Inside - "THE BIGGEST LOSER" open casting call

Hope springs eternal! 547 morbidly obese women and men (with at least twice that many friends and family!) stood in the Georgia sun for hours last Sat. to interview for the 30 spots on season 9, which will begin taping this Sept., as season8 premiers on Sept. 15th.

Because I'm a New Yorker (born, raised, & lived there with hubby*), part of me wished I could've covered the open casting call the same day at Rockefeller Plaza at the NBC Experience store. Anyone have pictures from that?

*(I was an editor working across the street in the NYC bureau of BROADCASTING magazine. Seems like another lifetime...)
