One word for you honey --- protein. Stick with it and it should come off real quick. NO CARBS! Depending on your doctor you may still be able to get a date if you are close. Good luck. Remember -- PROTEIN, NO CARBS.

This is a really good lesson learned..... the surgery does not change your brain.... We all know it's only a 'TOOL'
It's a struggle now and we need to work on our brains every single day.... I'm 18 months out and trust me, I know what 'crap' I can and can not eat..... so unless I make a conscious decision not to eat it or not to bring it into my house.... it'll go right in my mouth... All you can do now is accept that you ate it, move on and work to get rid of those calories you ate with exercise.
Good Luck !!

Sounds like you were doing the "last supper" thingy.
You have to remember and realize that it is always going to be a struggle still. You have to change your mindset. Eventually after surgery you will still want all that. I don't deprive. I have been lucky so far to not want alot of things I used to eat before WLS. It is weird but alot does not even taste the same or is not as appealing as it used to be.
If I do want something that I know is not the best thing for me I will have a bite or 2 and that usually does it for me. It never tastes as good as I think it is going to anyway.
After you start eating better it will be the "good" stuff that you will crave. I thought I would never crave fruit, salads and veggies!!
Keep plugging,
Lisa
