For those of you who are now post-op, did you change your mind frequently about having WLS?

Last month I was totally gung-ho and now I'm so scared.  I don't have a surgery date but I have my appts coming up in the next two weeks with the nut and psych.  I've seen many posts of people who pull out at last minute or decide during the process it wasn't for them...for those of you that did have the surgery did you change your mind many times and what was the deciding factor that encouraged you to move forward with WLS?

Not that I have had the surgery, but my now ex sis inlaw was for and against and for and then against up until the day she had her surgery. The last time we talked, it was still the best thing she said she ever did.

WE ALL WENT THROUGH THE SCARED STAGE!  I HAD MADE UP MY MIND I WAS DOING THIS AND NOT EVEN FEAR WAS GONNA STOP ME. I DID CRY MY WAY THROUGH IT A COUPLE TIMES. I HAVE TO SAY THIS WAS THE BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE!!!!! I WOULD DO IT AGAIN TOMORROW. MY ONLY REGRET IS THAT I DID NOT DO IT SOONER.

GOOD LUCK ON YOUR JOURNEY! IT REALLY IS AN AMAZING RIDE!!  (ONE WAY STREET FOR ME)

I had doubts, fears and all that other good stuff. I am eight days post-op. I had thought about it for about a year before I did it. It is going well. Good grace in any decision you make it has to be what you want because any change is not easy. Life is a series of changes no matter how big or small
