Hey Sheri, had my appt with Mickey!

And guess what she asked me?  She asked me if I was at the support group meeting the other night.  I said "no, but I bet I know why you asked."  I said "Sheri was there with her friend Tina, but it's a different Tina, not me..."

She looked at me all funny like "how do you know Sheri" so I told her about "meeting" you on here and that we've been chatting.  Told her how helpful you've been and she said yes, Sheri is a sweetheart.

Talked about how we'll get to meet IRL here pretty soon since I now have all the dates for the group meetings!

Just thought it was cute that she was so surprised I knew another patient... with the confidentiality laws she couldn't come right out and ask me if I was the one with you the other night, but she was definitely surprised that I do "know" you!

That's so cool!  Mickey is wonderful :) The more you get to know her the more your gonna like her! There's a pre & post support group next wed in the Vestal location (hmmm dont know the addy right off the top of my head) are you planning on going?  I hope to go and I hope to bring the other Tina with me. Maybe we can all meet??? Did Mickey give you the paperwork with the meeting dates and locations? Oh and ps...My friend Tina is approved for the program too!

Mickey did give me all the dates.  It's in my binder already. 

I'm going to try to make the Wednesday evening meeting.  Not sure what is going on yet.  I'll let you know when it gets closer if I can make it...

shoot....just found out today the boys baseball team have a game on Wed. I keep score for the team so i guess I am not going to be able to make the meeting  :(

not a problem.  I wasn't sure if I could make it either,  the kids have a school trip to Hershey the next day....

There are plenty of dates on the calendar, I'm sure we'll hook up eventually!  And if not, we can make our own little support meeting somewhere!
