LIPO turns 2!

   HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY LIPO 

May marks 2 years since I founded my support group LIPO (Long Island Post Ops).  We have over 80 registered members plus our virtual group of 76.  We offer one support group meeting monthly and one physical activity.....all for FREE. 

I have 2 AWESOME coleaders....Karen I. and Lisa L.


To begin our 2 year celebration, last Friday, we went to dinner and Karokoeing.......26 people attended! 













 








Lots of fun was had by all!  

This Saturday, we will walk the Long Beach Boardwalk together to continue the celebration.

On May 16th we will go dancing, and on May 26th we will have a free country line dance class, all this in addition to our monthly support group meeting.

It was great going out again. I can't believe it was so long since I last hung with out with the group. That needs to change. I will see you at the Lizard lounge, I was going up to MA. that weekend but i'll get to there another time. Need to reconnect and get back on track. I have gained too much (weight that is) since I lost I lost touch with my group. It was nice to meet new members of the group and see how large and varied it has become. I remember when we were just a handful of people who barely filled a table let alone a room.
