Did anyone have Dr Garber as a surgeon?  I am interested in getting a revision with him but wonder if he takes my insurance MVP? MVP just switched from Preferred care.  I'm gonna call the office, but just wondered???

Oh man...
I have been looking at Dr Graber, I sent him my records and then the receptionist called to tell me he no longer takes MVP insurance.  I am so bummed.  But also he reviewed my records and he would not be able to do a  revision band over bypass on me.  I didnt want to have to travel to NYC, but I am now looking at Dr Shawn Garber in Long Island.
thank you for your response

You wouldnt believe it...lol
I have a book, but it does not list individual Dr's.
Dr Omaily does not do revisions at all.
Dr Wiess i called them and they are not affliliated with a hospital of excellence so they cannot do revisions anymore...something along that lines the receptionist told me...lol
I went on Dr Garber's website, but does not list individual plans it just said "many" insurance plans....lol
hmmm next.....lol

Hi there...I have first hand knowledge.  I had the ROSE procedure done in May.  It doesnt work.  I am part of a study and of the patients I know we lost on the initial liquid diet and then nothing, the  "clamps" they put in the pouch are no longer there.   am back at square one.  I am looking to get the band over my bypass by Dr Garber.  Alot of people will urge you to do a DS, do your research the chioce is yours.  Good luck
