I was 487, I lost 81 lbs on South Beach, I never had to do a pre op liquid diet.  I was 406 at surgery.  I went through Buffalo Ganeral Hospital.  I had Forbes, she left so now I have Posner.

Start: 487 lbs (8/07) Lost 81 lbs pre op on South Beach. 406 lbs at surgery (6/08). 179 post op, by 2011. I  lost 308 lbs. Gained 98 while pregnant (2012-13) lost all but 25. My goal is to be 179 again!

I was 546 when I got my consult from Dr. Clarke from Schenectady and I lost 83 lbs on Medifast before surgery .. that still put me in the higher risk category but he still did it and it was laproscopic as well.

He did a fantastic job even fighting through all my old scar tissue from previous surgeries :)

I've lost 110 pounds so far since December.

I wish you the best of luck
