flaxseed oil pills

Just wondering if anyone took these pills? And what are they for? Somebody at work was talking about them and wasn't sure what they are actually taken for. Thanks, Christine
Also what about just plain flaxseed and where do you buy this?

Flaseed is wonderful for us. You can read all about it here on this site.Cick here  Also if you buy flaxseed make sure the flaxseed is grounded up. Because then the seed is open and the oils from the flaxseed will absorb better in your body. Grounded flaxseed is better. We are able to digest it. Whole flaxseed may pass through your intestine undigested, which means you won't get the health benefits of flaxseed. So make sure you buy grounded flaxseed. If you do buy whole flaxseed. you can grind it up yourself in a coffee grinder. Just make sure you wash out the grinder first and there isn't any coffee beans left in there. you don't want to taste coffee and the nutty flavor from the flaxseed. It might not taste good. haha ..lol This way is cheaper too. :-)

You can buy grounded flaxseed or just plain flaxseed at The Vitamin shoppe or at whole gourmet health food store in your neighborhood. Have fun with the flaxseed. You can use it in many different ways. Research flaxseed recipes in www.google.com I add mine to my greek yogurt, salads and also believe it or not , i add it to my mixture when I bake my, fish and chicken cutlets. Flaxseed has a nutty flavor. They turn out delicious. After opening the flaxseed bag, place it in the fridge to keep it fresh. Enjoy!! :-)

I have been taking a Mixture of Flax and Fish oil tablets.  Had trouble with very dry skin, much better now that I am taking the pills.  It also seems to help constipation.  Flax and Fish oil is rumored to be very heart healthy.

Remember we malabsorb oil! Don't waste money!
My clinical nutrion doc recommended I skip fish/flax oil use ground flax seed (I buy whole and grind it keeping in fridge or freezer just amount I need for a week or so it can go rancid!)
