do u need smaller cothes?

I've been to this event in the past and in my first year after WLS it was a life saver.
Be prepared to dig for clothes and they only take cash but it's a great way to make your $ go further & get some great clothes.

WHAT WE NEED TO HAVE HAPPEN TO MAKE THE FLEA MARKET A SUCCESS:

*We need volunteers to drive the truck from the Jersey City storage
space to the LGBT Center on Friday, April 3 at 1 PM. Seriously, the
Flea won't happen unless someone can drive this truck!
*We need volunteers to load up the truck in JC on Friday April 3 at 1
PM!
*We need bags! Can you donate shopping bags to us? Have a business
that wants to put your card in all the bags people leave the flea
with? Get in touch!
*We need one more cash box! Can you loan us one?
*We need mirrors for the dressing room. Can you loan us a few?
*We need a food vendor. Want to earn money for your organization
selling food to our famished shoppers and volunteers? Get in touch!
*Want to vend? If you're vending anything other than used clothing of
interest to the discerning plus size shopper, get in touch about
renting a table!
*We need boxes! Big boxes! If you have some please get in touch!

Don't mean to sound dumb, but are the clothes at "The Fat Girl Flea Market" only plus sized?

I'm wearing 8's +/-.  I've been super lucky with my sis giving me great quality coats, some tops, and lots of jeans.  It is so expensive to keep replacing your wardrobe .  I mean, it feels good to look nice and not have the potato sack look.

Last weekend I went to the cheapest stores (Danice & Pretty Girl) and moved directly to their clearance sections.  I got about 20 tops for $1, $2, $3, & $6.  Of course they are not of great quality - suprised that 1/4th of them were actually made in the USA,  BUT they look nice and will work for now.  I'll wash them gently.

I've spent so much money and now I just do not care where my clothes come from as long as I look nice.
