~~New to the area~~

Hello all!!!!!! I am new to the area. I just moved to Chittenango outside of Syracuse and was told of this site. I had Lapband surgery Sept. 9, 2008 and of course looking for a new Dr to continue my adjustments as well as support group meetings. I would love to connect with anyone who is in the area. I have only been here a few weeks and trying to start my new life in a new state. All friends welcome. Cannot wait to hear back from anyone as I am desperate for other people who know where I have came from and where I intend to head to.

Thank you for ur responce to my messege Chris. I see u r about to have surgery soon as well. Congradulations and goodluck. I am sure u will do wonderful. I am not having that great of a success here but I will keep trying lol. The big deal here is that we are all in this together to some degree. I hope to soon find a support group and perhaps then I will make some new friends near me who I can spend some time with working out and learning about New York.

Welcome to the area!

Although I am in Rochester, and had RNY surgery here, I'm sure there are surgeons and bariatric centers in the Syracuse (heck, maybe even Utica and Rochester!) who will be mroe than happy to be of assistance.

We here will be more than happy to be the best support system we can be!
