Hi all!

I'm having my lap band placed on Monday at South Nassau..!! I cant believe the day is finally here, I feel like I just started the whole process!

Advice, thoughts, etc are more than welcome.

Wooohooo! Good luck with your surgery! I am sure you will do great!! Post operative support is key!! Advice... if you are anything like me ask for Valium before the surgery bc i know i was freaking out a bit and it knocked me right out lol. It was my first surgery ever. I have the band too and it is awesome! I love my band!

Where on Long Island do you live?

I'm a dual major.. started w/ psychology and now ended up in the nursing program.. almost done, can't wait. I graduate in May w/ a BA in psych and then my BS in nursing in August. I'm only on campus 1 day a week right now because I do clinical rotations 2x a week. What do you go for?

Are you in the grad program or undergrad?? Are you going to graduation? I'm so mad they are changing the color of the robes this year from black to brown.. ew, figures just when we graduate, lolol!
