Buffalo ny support groups

I am 24 years old and I have just recently moved to Buffalo.  My surgeon is in the Syracuse area, but has agreed to let me go to support groups in Buffalo while im attending school! I have 7 more lbs to lose before getting a surgery date!! YAY!  Can Anyone point me in the right direction, contact information etc for support groups in this area.. P.S Im having the Gastric Bypass, not the lapband!

Hi - You could try Synergy Bariatrics (google for the number)  They are a nice group, and at the last meeting someone was there that had surg from someone else....so I would imagine it would be okay for you to come to ours! :)  Other than that, I believe Dr. DiBenedetto's group meets at the Lockport Library but I'm not sure what dates, etc.....
