I need a surgeon buffalo ny

Hello everyone I have a problem my pcp wants me to have surgery and I agree here is the problem I went to Synergy say Dr Caruana saw Dr Lelito and the nutritionist got Ok d from everyone. then my Insurance changed aetna (IT SUCKS) from bcbs synergy does not accept it. so only other is Posner/? group at buffalo general my family will Kill me if I go there bad Memories at that hospital so is there any one else in the buffalo area that does this surgery? as far as I know..those are your only two options in buffalo...I believe there are some in the Rochester area if that is an option for you.

I recommend Dr. Anthony DiBennedetto - he practices out of Rochester General Hospital (surgery wise) but still has his practice out of Lockport, NY.  The number is 585-922-2900 - They are an excellent team there, but just a warning, the doc does have a 20lbs pre-op weight loss requirement.  He was my surgeon before I moved to Buffalo, and switched to Dr. C....

Hi Mike, I had Dr. Dibennedetto and he does work out of Rochester. He know longer requiires a 20 pound weight loss but I was told by his wife that the insurances are now requiring a 5-10 % weight loss before it is even submitted for approval. (I don't remember the actual percent) I think he is an awesome doctor. Good luck, (also even though he works out of Rochester, he is still considered In Network)

Try Highland Bariatrics in Rochester as well - Drs. O'Malley and Johnson.

Dr dibennidito is awesome he used to work in buffalo now at rgh has office in lockport for follow ups I had mine Jan 2009 had great! results
