Anyone a patient at Albany Medical Center?
I cant make the support group this thursday since because I have my Sleep Study at 7pm that night. But I deff. want to make the next one!!

Hi, I have been going through the process with Albany Med. I started on 1/8/09 and it has been a great expierence. Dr Santoro rocks as does Kathleen the dietician. They sugessted a "South Beach type diet for me to lose my 10%. It is awesome!!!! I've lost 45lbs since 1/8, so cool, they only asked me to lose 28. I am having RNY with Dr Roseti on 4/21. I have met with him and feel very confident. I am a Nurse and would highly recomend them. Good Luck
I am currently in the program and have been since nov 08. i am planning surgery for July/August 09. everyone at AMC has been great, Kathleen, dr. santoro, everyone. i selected dr. dunnican but have yet to meet with him. i am scheduled for that on jun 29th. anyone have any experience with him or info on him? reading stuff online about how important a good surgeon is is freaking me out a bit and i know nothing about him other than people saying hes nice or attractive or whatever. any other info? thanks!
